About the Third Dose of the Novel Coronavirus(COVID-19)Vaccine

  • The third dose of the vaccine is available to those who have received their second dose at least eight months ago.
  • Currently, the city is preparing for the third vaccination. It will be notified as soon as the arrangement is confirmed.

For those who will receive their First Dose of the Vaccine

  • The reservation of Novel Coronavirus Vaccine at large venues (mass vaccination) has ended.
  • If you wish to make the reservation for your first vaccine shot, please make the reservation at hospitals/clinics (individual vaccination).
  • At the moment, all those aged 12 and above with the Novel Coronavirus Vaccination tickets (coupons) are able to make the reservation.
  • For those who are not 12 years’ old yet, the tickets (coupons) will be posted on their 12th birthday date.
  • A parent needs to accompany the child, when a child under the age of 16 is getting vaccinated.

Individual Vaccinations

Vaccinations are available at hospitals and clinics in Urayasu City.

How to make the Reservation

Reservation can be made either by phone or by website.

The followings are needed when you make a reservation:

  • Vaccination ticket (10-digit ticket number)
  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Telephone number

Things to keep in mind when making a reservation:

  • Two doses of the vaccine are required. The second dose will be given 19 to 21 days after the first vaccination.Reservations need to be made for both doses.
  • If you wish to cancel a reservation, please do so at least two days in advance.For the change of the schedule, you must cancel all your reservations once and make the reservations anew again.

Please Note Before Receiving the Vaccination

The following persons should ask the doctor at their regular clinic whether or not they could receive the vaccination.

If needed, please come with someone who could help you with the Japanese language.

  • Person who is a regular patient at a hospital.
  • Person who is worried about getting vaccinated due to medical concerns.
  • Person who had fever or allergies such as rash within 2 days after injection in the past.
  • Person who has had seizures in the past.
  • Person who might be allergic to the ingredients contained in the vaccine.
