Personal Seal Registration

You can register your personal seal to make it your official seal.

Register with the Civic Affairs Section.The Civic Affairs Section has the necessary registration documents.

What to bring

• Personal identification （residence card, driver’s license, etc.）
• Personal seal to register

Example: If your residence record name is “URAYASU CITY TARO”

Available for seal registration = URAYASU, CITY, TARO, URAYASUCITY, CITYTARO,

URAYASUTARO, CITY U, T  etc.

Unavailable for seal registration = U, UC, UCT, UT  etc.

Unavailable seals for registration:

The length of one side of the seal is 8 millimeters or less, or 25 millimeters or more

Seals made of materials that could be easily deformed （such as rubbers）

Seals with a missing part or are unclear

Seals with inverted carving （white-outlined text）

Note: Only one seal can be registered per person. The same seal cannot be registered for the members of the same household.
